«We collected 1040 ounces, and estimated that the average child consumes 3 oz. So we have enough milk for feedings 346» — said Palmer.

Frozen milk Daniel together with milk from other moms will be sent to the mothers who can’t feed their children due to the floods and hurricane.

Donated breast milk is safe for babies, if you adhere to the necessary procedures — pasteurization laboratory and milk testing.

«I am so grateful that we can help this way,» wrote Palmer on his page in Facebook on Saturday, adding that she taught her son to share.
