A policeman, a cancer patient, saved almost 1,500 people during hurricane Harvey

The Houston police officer who is sick with cancer of the fourth stage, helped save more than 1,000 people during tropical storm Harvey.

Burt Ramon, a veteran of the police with 24 years of experience, constantly fighting with destructive elements within four days. During this time he managed to save nearly 1,500 people, among whom were children and elderly people, reports the New York Post.

«I hope I can inspire other cancer patients that the disease does not drive them into the framework,» — said the hero COP. «If you feel the power, don’t let cancer completely take over your life».

On Sunday, Ramon, whose colon cancer, which also hurt the liver and lungs underwent one course of chemotherapy.
