For many families from South Florida and Georgia evacuation because of the threat of a hurricane — it is commonplace. They have long been accustomed to buying tickets at the last minute, queues for petrol and finding hotels that accept animals.
But one of the most powerful hurricanes, Irma, forced them to gather their belongings faster than ever. The queries to Google Search «where to evacuate during Irma» and «where to ride out a hurricane» — the most popular.
«As soon as I went outside, I saw what the panic people are,» says Sarah milard from the University of Miami in coral Gable, campus were evacuated Friday.
