What is Florida after Irma: assessment of damage and casualties

Sunday, as predicted by the national research center for hurricanes, the most powerful hurricane Irma hit the state of Florida. Despite the full commitment of both the authorities and residents to the elements, it is obvious that a hurricane of such power could not go unnoticed. And after Irma «was» in Florida for a few days, now remains the most difficult – long reconstruction work in the disaster area.

On Tuesday in the districts Miami-Dade and Broward operation «Return to normalcy» was in full swing. According to local rescue services, the damage from Irma, despite a large distribution area, was small. At the moment the curfew was cancelled. Airports and dams reopened.
