What streets in Manhattan will block during a meeting of the UN General Assembly

Very soon there will be a meeting of the UN General Assembly, which will also host and Donald trump, this means that all drivers of Manhattan will have a headache in the form of blocked streets, and as a result, tubes.
Streets will begin to shut from Sunday evening, September 17, and will re-open on Thursday, September 21.
The headquarters of UN is located at First Avenue and 42nd Street, and this means that will be closed most of the nearby streets.
During the meeting of the Assembly of town residents in order to avoid traffic jams, are urged to use public transport.

The NYPD issued a list of streetsthat will be closed in the period from 17 to 21 September.

Starting around 22:00 to vehicular traffic will be blocked streets leading to the headquarters of the UN
• 1st Avenue from 42nd Street to 48th Street. Underground tunnel from 41st Street to 48 Street will remain open.
• 44th Street from 1st Avenue to 2nd Avenue
• 45th Street с1st Avenue to 2nd Avenue
• 46th Street from 1st Avenue to 2nd Avenue
Highway FDR DRIVE will be temporarily closed
• Southbound on 63rd Street
• North South Ferry

The following streets will be open adjustable access, however Parking is not permitted:

Battery Place Little West Street to Second Place.
• 1st Place from Battery Place to Little West Street
• Little West Street from Battery Place up to 2nd Place
• 50th Street from Park Avenue to Madison Avenue
• 51st Street from Park Avenue to Madison Avenue
• 54th Street from 6th Avenue to 7th Avenue
• 55th Street from Madison Avenue to 5th Avenue
• 55th Street from 5th Avenue to 6th Avenue
• 56th Street from 5th Avenue to 6th Avenue
• 58th Street from Park Avenue to Madison Avenue

Monday 18th September — Thursday 21st September
The following streets will be open one lane, designed for emergency transportation at the time of the General Assembly:
• 42nd Street from 1st Avenue to 5th Avenue
• 57th Street from 2nd Avenue to 5th Avenue
• 2nd Avenue from 41st Street to 57th Street

The following streets are located in the immediate vicinity of the headquarters of the United Nations, will remain closed to vehicular traffic:
• 1st Avenue from 42nd Street to 48th Street. For passenger cars will be open travel through an underground tunnel from 41st Street to 48th Street. The traffic of trucks and other large vehicles will be closed until the end of the session.
• 44th Street from 1st Avenue to 2nd Avenue
• 45th Street from 1st Avenue to 2nd Avenue
• 46th Street from 1st Avenue to 2nd Avenue

From 5 a.m. traffic will be blocked at:
42nd Street from the FDR Drive to 2nd Avenue
