66-year-old carpenter-the pensioner has made his first cross 20 years ago, when his father was killed.

«It’s just changed my life, said Zanis. My first cross was to someone I loved. And when I install these crosses, I always think about my personal loss.»

The man drove almost 2 thousand miles to set a wooden structure on a small plot of land near the sign «Welcome to Las Vegas». It is symbolic that this place is seen the hotel, where the killer shot, and the territory, which hosted a festival of country music.

He wrote on each the cross the names of the victims and put their pictures. Zanis wants the crosses were on the Las Vegas Strip for 40 days in order to pay tribute to and commemorate the victims. At the expiration of that period he will offer their families to take so-called symbols.

Recall, a few days after the massacre, on YouTube , there are commercials in which mass murder is called «staging» and «hoax». The families of the victims and the victims are shocked by this fact and believe that an online platform needs to delete such videos.
