Trump has proposed stringent conditions for transactions on DACA

On Sunday , the White house submitted to Congress a long list of strict immigration measures that President Donald trump demands in exchange for any deal on the protection of young undocumented immigrants called dreamers.

Trump will insist on the construction of a wall on the border of USA and Mexico, the employment of 10 thousand immigration agents, more stringent laws for the asylum seekers and the refusal of Federal grants in the «cities of refuge». The white house will require companies to use the program E-Verify to ensure that illegal immigrants are unable to work.

Trump has proposed stringent conditions for transactions on DACA

Trump administration proposes to strengthen the border in order to remove the loopholes that would help parents from Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras illegally send their children to the United States, where many of them are undocumented immigrants.

As reported by The New York Times, as yet unknown trump considers these conditions as absolute requirements or they will be the beginning of negotiations. But if he will insist on implementation of all points, it is likely that many human rights activists do not agree with them. Immigration activists have long opposed many of these proposals, considering them to be cruel or even racist.

These requirements will go to Congress, which will discuss the question of the fate of the participants of the DACA, and will be revised the entire U.S. immigration system – on the conditions that the extreme conservatives are pursuing for decades.

Senators-Democrats Chuck Schumer, new York, and Nancy Pelosi, of California, denounced the claim of the President as «not of any attempt to compromise».

Supporters of immigration is likely to induce democratic leaders to withdraw from the transaction. But there is another side of the coin, because the immigration rights activists are also under pressure. It is important for them to address this issue before March, since April, the program terminates. This means that many participants can lose a work permit and protection from deportation.

We will remind, in September, the trump ceased work program for immigrant youth DACA, which was created by former President Barack Obama.
