In Florida for the week arrested 277 suspected human trafficking

Tuesday, October 10 through Sunday, October 15, in the course of several covert operations detectives and investigators have arrested 277 people. They are suspected of trafficking, the provision of sexual services on the Internet and other offences.

During the undercover investigation, law enforcement officials placed ads or have created profiles in social networks and other sites, posing as prostitutes or pimps. In some cases, the detectives found in the global network ads, which are placed by therapists themselves, and establish contact with them. After establishing communication, the undercover agents agreed to meet.

According to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, for anybody not a secret that they have mobilized large resources to combat such criminals. Such operations are already practiced in the state and repeatedly reported in the media. Despite this, the alleged attackers arrived at the appointed place, unaware of waiting for their team.

277 people who were arrested for 6 days, got 334 charges, of which 298 misconduct and 36 are of a criminal nature. Some of the suspects accused of exploitation of children to provide sexual services and data transmission, which could harm minors.

As the press service of the Sheriff’s office, the youngest suspect was 16 years old and the oldest is 74 years.
