When new Yorkers learned that they can no longer ride the subway with their four-legged friends, they weren’t very happy about this news.
The initiator of the introduction of the rule became transport company MTA. The official statement reads: «no person may transport any animal in any means of transport, unless it is in a container and not carried in such a way as not to annoy other passengers.»

The stage of anger and denial have passed quite quickly, and the townspeople decided that they do not intend to condone such things. The output was quite original. Authorities didn’t specify what size should be «container».
Nothing can stand between new Yorkers and their Pets, so (naturally) they started to carry dogs of all possible sizes in backpacks, baby carriages , and just huge bags (including cellular).
