The parents of one of the schools in Connecticut took their children home after a surprise visit to the school came first daughter and the adviser of the President Ivanka trump.
Communication with students took place on Monday. Ivanka trump, as well as the accompanying CEO of IBM , Ginny, Rometty, talked with high school students whose education is the program of Norwalk Early College Academy at Norwalk High School. Upon completion, students receive not only a high school diploma, but a degree in software development.
The visit went smoothly, however for security purposes, neither the students nor their parents were informed about it in advance. This caused an uproar. Parents who do not share the views of President trump, the emergency order took the children from school.
«It had to be brought to our attention, although I understand that this is not done because of security reasons,» said the father of one of the students, Kari Fitzgerald News 12. «I think we were supposed to be a choice to send our child to school or leave the house.»
The Ivanka trump on her Facebook page posted a photo with students of the school who attended the meeting, and expressed his admiration for their talent.
«I was honored to meet with such bright and talented students!», — she wrote.
