Americans spent $ 16 billion on bad Christmas gifts

Gifts pleased not only to receive but to give. However, the problem is that sometimes the present is not has to appeal to the recipient, and it is actually very sad. Resource Pureprofile conducted a study which showed that many Americans receive at least one unwanted gift, and each gift costs about $49.95.

After working with 2,000 Americans, the researchers estimated that a total of $ 16 billion, U.S. residents throw away on bad gifts. In addition, it was found that about 7 percent of the people consciously give your family and friends unwanted gifts, nearly a quarter of respondents said that their friends make the worst gifts, and 5% complained that the most useless people are their bosses.

Approximately every fourth (22.89 per cent) chose to pass on re-gift a bad gift, and 31,48% decided to profit from it by selling or exchanging their gifts. Of 3.69% of the respondents admitted that they are quite wasteful to just throw those gifts, while 2.03% of the respondents indicated that they are going to give their gifts to charity or to take them away from the eyes.
