Trump believes that the deal with Russia was not, and if there was – it’s not a crime

President Donald trump denies the intervention of Russia in the presidential election of 2016 year in the United States. Trump also spoke about the investigation by the Prosecutor General Robert Muller, the connection between the election campaign trump and the Russian Federation, saying that «this country looks bad.»

In an interview with The New York Times Donald trump praised Alan Dershowitz, who stood on the side of the President in the situation with the dismissal of the former head of the FBI James Komi. Dershowitz said that the dismissal was legitimate, since the President has that right.

«I saw Dershowitz recently. And he believes that, first, not colluding. Second, collusion is not a crime, but even if I did [a crime], and there was no conspiracy,» The Times said trump. «And he said it very confidently. He said that there is no conspiracy there. And he very carefully studied the question. I saw him more than once. Conspiracy no, but if I did, it’s not a crime».

Mueller has the right to examine any questions that arise when investigating possible collusion between trump and Russia, including possible obstruction of justice.

«It puts the country in a very bad position,» trump said. «The sooner can deal with it, the better for the country.»

J. Sekulow, one of the lawyers of President trump, said earlier this month that no matter joined members of the campaign trump in collusion with Russia, because «there is no such crime as conspiracy.»

«For something to be a crime, there must be a law which you claim is violated«, — he said the publication of The New Yorker. «There is no law in regard to conspiracy. No crime of «conspiracy» no.»
