A resident of California Sean Cepeda while dining in the restaurant BJ’s in West Covina, County of Los Angeles, felt that her salad is too bitter.
«I ate a few bites of the salad and thought that perhaps the bitterness from sauce ranch. So I stopped the salad in the bowl and then saw a small dead frog,» wrote Sean on the website of the Yelp reviews.
According to her, she told about the incident to the Manager who instead offered to bring other dishes for the restaurant bill, but asked to pay for drinks ordered.
«I said that this frog may be Salmonella and do not know where she was until she got to the salad,» wrote Sean.
Then she presented a gift card of the restaurant for $ 50. The girl was a regular at BJ’s, but this finding has long defended her appetite.
About a week after the incident, the County public health Department Los Angeles inspected the restaurant and found no violations.
In the restaurant say they began an internal investigation.
«I apologize, including what we immediately did not react properly, in accordance with our high standards of service,» — said General Director of restaurant Christine Romero.
Also, the caterer for the restaurant is outside of the United States, the investigation will lead the California Department of public health.
