Nevada followed the lead of California, and now state residents can use marijuana for entertainment purposes — the relevant law entered into force on 1 July. This event had so much importance for the yoga instructor Mark Balfe-Taylor that he decided to make him his own wedding.

On Sunday, mark and his girlfriend Anna exchanged rings in a giant greenhouse with marijuana. Perhaps Las Vegas has seen a lot of unusual weddings, but this couple surpassed in originality all the others.

The bride’s bouquet adorned the branches of cannabis and groom laughing they put a few leaves in the buttonhole of his coat.

The couple said that the choice of such an unusual place for the wedding was their joint decision, but the initiative came from Mark. He said the legalization of recreational marijuana was for personal holiday, because at the time his father went to jail for its possession.

«We are talking about freedom of choice in the matter of the use of harmless substances,» — expressed his position the newly made husband.

«Mark asked me to marry here, and I supported his choice. I think it’s great,» admitted Anna.
