The Duke of Sussex announced that they are going to step back from Royal duties and live between the UK and North America.
In a statement issued by Buckingham Palace, the couple said they plan to «play a new progressive role.»

They stated that they intend «to work to become financially independent.»
In his statement, also posted on their Instagram page, the couple said they decided «after many months of deliberation and internal discussions.»
«We intend to deviate as less important members of the Royal family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty the Queen,» was written in the post.
