18-year-old girl from California was sentenced to 13 years in prison for pimping and human trafficking.
Detectives from the Hanford police arrested Linnane, Bedricha, Almeria in may 2016. Despite his age, the girl was tried as an adult.
According to police detective Richard Pontecorvo, Almario was the main suspect in this case. Invented by a teenager, a criminal scheme was designed for a few weeks: first, she posted photos of young women aged 14 to 15 years at different porn sites and then transported the victims to motels to clients.
Almario found the girls through friends and social network.
As stated by the detective: «Such people are perfectly calculated children with low self-esteem, trying to ingratiate himself. Then, under pressure, the victim’s work for them, escaping out of the house for the weekend.»
Criminal trafficking and prostitution continued for several weeks last spring. During this time the mother of one of the victims tried to find the daughter, therefore, Almario start to send her threatening messages.
According to Pontecorvo, they managed to get the girls home and give them the help that they need. The case shocked the entire Hanford because the pimp was a minor girl.
«It was a huge shock, but we were able to get on the trail fairly quickly, and saved the girls from this nightmare.»
