Adults are children, which a lot of old. They also need to play outdoors, to cope with boredom. For this reason, under the Triborough bridge near Astoria Park there is a Playground, equipped with tables for table tennis, volleyball courts and exercise equipment. Yay!
Reconstruction of the Playground at Hoyt Avenue North between 21st Street and Astoria Park, was completed a few weeks ago. To overhaul public object need 825 000 $ , and looking at a new area, it is clear that the money was well spent.
Now living near people will be able to completely free to use exercise equipment under the open sky, to play outdoor games and to support their physical form. In addition, in the reconstruction were installed new benches and a drainage system.
Plans to repair the platform was first announced in 2013, but had to be postponed because the workers used the area during the works on the Triborough bridge.
