Metro Medical Center and Bethesda in Washington will be closed on the weekends

Useful information for all users of the Moscow metro: in connection with the planned maintenance at several metro stations, followed by some changes in the work of the three branches of the subway.

Red Line

Metro Medical Center and Bethesda in Washington will be closed on the weekends

Repair crews will be working on a pilot project involving waterproofing of tunnels on the Red Line, every weekend until August 6. At this time, the passengers in the subway cars will replace buses that will run between Friendship Heights and Grosvenor, making stops at the closed stations.

Yellow Line

On Yellow Line this weekend trains will run only between the stations and the Huntington National Airport, because the site there will also be maintenance tasks that are scheduled for every weekend until July 30. These days, customers traveling to/from stations North of National airport, will need to use the Blue Line train and transfer at L’enfant Plaza to get to the end station.

Green Line

As repairers will install the communication cables along the tunnels, on Friday until 10 p.m. Green Line trains will run only one flight stations between Mount Vernon Square and U Street.

This weekend is not planned any projects any maintenance or changes for the users of the branches of Blue, Orange and Silver Line.
