Focusing on the increase in sales of goods of mass demand, Amazon is ready to fight with the caterers for our lunch.
The Corporation plans to compete with other companies for the delivery of food. 6 July, Amazon filed an application to trademark «ready packs».
A new set of ingredients to prepare various dishes with home delivery is already on the website of the company. Goods are available in grocery service Amazon Fresh for $14.99 per month for customers, for subscribers to Amazon Prime for $10.99 per month.
Ready-made kits consist of 17 items to choose from, including tacos with pork, fried cod with ragout of beans, cannellini and pesto. Each box contains only the necessary ingredients and simple recipes from the chef.
Last month, Amazon acquired the supermarket chain Whole Foods for $13.7 billion. Also, together with Deliveroo and UberEats famous Corporation opened a catering business with food delivery.
