In the subway of new York was a mysterious green substance

This morning at the station 34th Street-Herald Square was discovered a puddle of green slime. However, MTA urged residents not to worry because the mucus is absolutely harmless.

«Green is dye that was poured into the water supply in the area, to discover where the water flows,» — said the representative of the MTA Gothamist, Amanda Kwan.

«Not every day on your local station, you receive a puddle of incomprehensible goo,» commented the new Yorker, Nick Caruso, who shared the photo. Initially, he was worried because he thought that the substance is a chemical cooling emulsion. But was comforted by the quick online response from the MTA.

Caruso also said that no foreign smell from the puddle did not come. «And judging by the amount of fluid dripping it early in the morning, including during rush hour in the subway,» — he added in comments to Gothamist.

Dear @mta and @nyc311:

There is green chemical coolant leaking and pooling in the Herald Square station this morning.

Not acceptable. pic.twitter.com/gv984phb0f

«At the station, Herald Square cooling puddle of green liquid.
This is unacceptable.»

Well it’s completely harmless liquid, and not the radioactive green slime that will spawn a new generation of mutant rats the size of Chihuahuas and a taste for human fingers.
