“One person said about the permanent scarring, the other talked about the burns and swelling on the face and other parts of the body,” said Patty Davis, a spokeswoman for the safety Commission consumer products USA (CPSC).
Because of all these complaints to the manufacturer of stylish accessories for the equipment MixBin Electronics had to recall more than 260,000 shiny covers. They were made in China and designed for the iPhone 6, iPhine 6s and iPhone 7.
Depending on the model, the cover and the seller, the cost of one unit of product varied from $15 to $65. From October 2015, they could be ordered on Amazon, MixBin, and buy in stores Victoria’s Secret, Tory Burch, Henri Bendel and Nordstrom Rack.
