Three-year-old child in Orlando, FL, spent the whole day in a closed van and died yesterday, August 7th.
This was announced by the chief of the Orlando police John Mina.
Miles hill in two weeks would have turned four years old. An employee of the kindergarten took it in the morning, like other children, but didn’t notice that miles was left in the van when she brought out the rest and parked the car on Plymouth Avenue.
When in the evening the grandmother of the child raised the alarm and called 911, police inspected the van, belonging to the kindergarten and found the body of miles.
«This is a huge tragedy that could have been prevented,» added John Mina.
According to him, the driver will face charges. An employee of the kindergarten told the officers that she did not count the children when they got out of the van. Mina added that the woman is in a «distraught state».
According to the Orlando Sentinel, the Department of children and families Florida inspected the kindergarten in July. According to the report, during transport were recorded violation – were not journal time of departure and arrival, as well as stops.

«We need to count children to make sure that they are all in place,» she says. «When parents come here, they trust their children’s lives to the employees.»
