The fastest growing city of America in Texas

The population of South America is growing faster than in any other region of the USA.
This is evidenced by the new data for the years 2015-2016 published by the census Bureau of the United States — the Associated Press reports.

Note that in the top five fastest growing U.S. cities with a population of 50 thousand people and more, included four towns of the state of Texas.

Topping the list is Conroe. Its population increased by 7.8%, reaching 82 286 people last year. Here above the average growth rate in America 11 times.

Second and third place – Frisco and MC Kinney, the growth rate of the population which are 6.2% and 5.9%, respectively. Completing the top five Greenville, South Carolina, and Georgetown, Texas.

Texas authorities and demographers attribute this rapid growth to various factors, including a stable labor market, lower cost of living, availability of skilled workers who receive higher wages.

«Often, when people think of Texas they imagine cowboys, threw a lasso at a cow. But in fact we have state of the art production technologies, and, of course, everything associated with oil production,» says state demographer Lloyd Potter.
