We all know the feeling when at the most unexpected moment long sought loss. It’s really nice, isn’t it? American Margaret Michelle is also faced with a similar situation, but its discovery was his own white gold ring with 1.1 carat diamond that went missing 9 years ago in Italy.
As reported by USA Today, the story began in 2008 when the couple Justin and Margaret Michelle decided to relax in the Italian town of San Marco dei Cavoti.
«The day we visited Pompeiiand it was very hot, – said Justin. Ring my wife was sitting on the finger freely, and she didn’t notice that it was gone.»
When the couple realized the ring was gone, they began searching, but the attempts were unsuccessful. In the end, the couple decided that the jewel slipped from his finger in Pompeii, and disappeared forever.
In 2017 Justin and Margaret again visited the family house in San Marco dei Cavoti. Sitting on a bench near the home, the husband noticed on the sidewalk a strange flickering. The man decided to check out where it comes. Hard to imagine what was his surprise when it turned out that the flickering emits lost his wife’s ring.
«The chances that it will fall into the crack, and, moreover, we find him nine years later, was astronomically small,» commented Justin.
The ring is practically not deformed and is sat down on a lucky ladies finger.
«I still can’t believe it, – shared his impressions of Margaret. – I just can’t look away from his hands.»
Now the Americans have 2 of the same ring, because after the loss of the first jewels, the couple bought the exact same. Margaret said she would wear the found ring, and the second will give one of his sons when one of them decides to make an offer hands and hearts.
We will remind that recently the daughter-in-law found the ring mother-in-law in 13 years after missing on sprouted carrots.
