In the town of Adams in Tennessee has its own legend, which says that in the summer of 1817 the wicked witch started to terrorize the family bell isliving on the farm. She did not allow them to sleep at night, making strange, eerie sounds, severely beat his family and even strangled John bell. But during those four years, which the bell witch spent on the farm, she managed to make one completely unexpected for this character act to save the child in a cave near the ill-fated house.

In an old story says that a group of children playing on the farm, discovered the karst cave length of 500 feet. When they decided to investigate their discovery, one of the boys stuck in the pit. In a panic, the child began to call for help, but nobody heard him. Suddenly he heard someone shout «I get it!».

Pulling the child out of the pit, the invisible witch told the children how to behave in the cave, and disappeared again. According to most records, the cave served as home to witches, when she tortured the family living on the farm. Even now, tourists come to this place during the tour, talking about the creepy atmosphere in this cave.
