Those who believe that Christmas must be with the snow, there is much to enjoy. Weather forecasters promise a truly fabulous holiday to new York, at least in some areas.

Christmas morning according to the forecast of AccuWeather, will be marked by rain, but don’t despair just yet. The temperature will drop and in the afternoon the rain gradually turned into snow.

The extreme Western and Northern areas of the city and suburbs will be covered with snow. Rainfall is expected to 2 inches. At higher elevations the rainfall could reach 4 inches.

The sanitary Department of the city issued an official warning about snowfall, which operates from 10 p.m. on Sunday. The report said that the work of all city services, including emergency Management and the Department of transport coordinated a work plan for each unit, so the city is ready for snow.

The temperature on Sunday will be 53 degrees Fahrenheit in the afternoon, 43 degrees at night. Monday will be a little cooler: 43 degree day, 40 degree night. Gradually, by Friday, the temperature will drop to 28 degrees during the day and 22 degrees at night. The snow is expected only during Christmas. A miracle!
