Sunday evening the people of new York will not be able to walk on the street. Precipitation that covered the region on Saturday evening, will last more than a day.
By the evening the rain will become less intense, but completely will not stop until early Monday morning. According to weather forecasts, by this time the city will drop from 250 to 625 mm of rain.
In connection with the excess moisture the national weather service warns of flash floods possible in low-lying and poorly treniruem areas of the Big Apple and new Jersey.
A Flood Advisory is in effect for NYC and NE NJ for poor drainage areas. Heavy rain will cause minor flooding.

Slush will be accompanied by warm weather. The temperature will remain at 5 — 7 °C above normal.
Monday will be dry and cloudy, the sun appears in the sky on Tuesday. The air temperature in the beginning of the work week will stay in the range of 1.5 — 8°C.
A slight warming on Thursday may be accompanied by precipitation, the probability of which will continue on Friday.
