Meteorologists warn that extreme heat is especially dangerous for the elderly and with chronic diseases.

To specify the addresses of the cooling centers in new York, please, call 311 or at the city Department of emergency situations where you can use the map to find the nearest life-saving oasis.

Doctors strongly recommend to minimize the time spent on the street, including work and sports, and the interior to include air conditioning. We will remind, in July, a woman died from a heart attack, which was working in the garden under the scorching sun.

A beautiful sunrise over #NYC this morning. Temperatures will rise into the 90s today with heat index values between 95-100° by afternoon. A heat advisory is in effect until 8 PM Tuesday. 🌇 pic.twitter.com/x0tjgyQEyl

Perhaps the evening of Tuesday, August 7, thunderstorms will cool a little new York. However, most likely they should expect in Wednesday.

By the weekend the heat subsides, but a little up to 80-85°F (+26…+29°C).
