New York at risk of flooding because of «Nightingale»

Northeast USA will feel the repercussions of hurricane «Florence», which had already subsided to a tropical cyclone but continues to carry with it heavy rains, threatening floods.

As of today, September 18, the storm gradually withdraw from the flooded North Carolina, the storm breaks out in the East of Pennsylvania, in Washington (D. C.) and also in the States of new York, Maryland, Virginia and Massachusetts.

As of 23.00 on September 17, the center of the cyclone was located about 20 miles (32 km) Northwest of Morgantown (West Virginia), moving to the North-East at a speed of about 12 miles (19.3 km) per hour.

Over the next few days in the North-Eastern Atlantic States can drop up to 4 inches (10 cm) of precipitation, in some areas, possible flooding of roads.
