The September snowstorm with a chance of snow storms and record low temperatures this weekend are expected in the North of the Rocky mountains. The first snow of the season, according to meteorologists, will fall into the higher altitude areas of Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and the West both of the Dakotas.
Predict the snowfall not only the mountains but also in towns in the lowlands, for example, in great falls and Helena (Montana). By the way, it’s not so unusual, since the average date of first snowfall in these areas to 2 October in great falls and 12 October in Helena.
The national weather service has issued a winter storm warning beginning on Friday evening, September 27, for the Northern, Western and Central Montana, Northern Idaho and Northern Washington.
