«Evil dawn»: the Photographer gets this «devilish» horns to the sky during the Eclipse

The photographer managed to make a unique picture, capturing two giant red «devil» horns over the Persian Gulf during a rare solar Eclipse.

When the man got out his camera, the sun partially obscured the moon, but that was not all. The Eclipse coincided with sunrise, so the sky was a deep shade of red. The result was the so-called «evil dawn», and photographer Elias Chasiotis this time were in the perfect place at the perfect time, with camera at the ready.

Of course, Elias was not here by chance: he came to El Wakra (Qatar) to photograph the Eclipse, and was hoping I can capture some spectacular optical phenomenon — but this result did not expect.

«Evil dawn» — the result of a natural phenomenon of the Fata Morgana, named after the famous witch from «Arthuriana». It occurs when light is refracted through air layers with different temperatures.

According to the photographer, dawn was the most amazing sight he had ever seen. The resulting images of Casiotis posted in social networks, where they instantly became viral.
