According to Climate Central, July 2017 was the hottest month in Miami in history, breaking the previous record, recorded in June 2010, down 0.2 of a degree. Statistics of the climatic conditions in the town conducted in 1896 year, the current figure is really impressive, though not in the good sense of the word.

Another record was almost broken in Miami. Maximum temperatures above 90 degrees Fahrenheit stayed in the city for 41 days (the previous record of 44 days). To break this «hot trend» could only tropical storm Emily, which has passed through the Central part of Florida and was the reason for lowering the temperature in the city on July 31.

The minimum temperature in Miami is 80 degrees Fahrenheit was recorded in July for 24 days in a row. For comparison, in 1998, such high minimum temperature stayed in the city only for 13 days.

Despite the unprecedented heat in the coming months, according to forecasts of weather forecasters, Miami expects a succession of tropical storms and hurricanes. Dangerous period will last from August to October.

Fortunately, over the last 10 years, no hurricane in Miami was not destructive. Maybe this year everything will cost.
