The candidate in presidents of Russia Ksenia Sobchak arrived in the U.S. with a three-day visit.
Yesterday, 6 January, a famous TV presenter and public figure, made in The center for strategic and international studies a lecture on post-authoritarian future of Russia stressing at the very beginning that the relations between Russia and the United States — is really important.
At a press conference Ksenia Sobchak has answered many questions, including about her hopes for electoral victory, the conflict in the Donbass and the status of Crimea.
«Every time I say that Crimea under international law of Ukrainian territory, I jeered. It’s not a fake poll. 90% of Russians like the idea that Crimea is Russia and people in Crimea like to be part of Russia», — said Sobchak.
Opposition politician believes that residents of both Ukraine and Russia should be given the opportunity to speak on the status of Crimea within the framework of international referendum.
Sobchak also shared future plans during their stay in the United States, in particular regarding meeting with White house officials responsible for the sanctions against Russia.
Recall tomorrow, 8 Jan in Washington will host the annual prayer Breakfast, which, as reported by the media, Sobchak can meet the President Donald Trump.
