Statements about Russia’s intervention in the elections – guff, says Lavrov

The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov refused to comment on the charges against 13 Russians, the intervention in the presidential election of 2016.

Yesterday February 16, the special Prosecutor Robert Mueller accused the 13 citizens of Russia and 3 Russian legal entities to influence elections in 2016 in favor of the elected President, Donald trump. Washington’s actions called Russian criminal and spy conspiracy.

Today, at a conference in Munich, Lavrov said he would not comment on the allegations and demands from the US evidence. The foreign Minister stressed that at this stage all reports of intervention – the «chatter».

After an apology for not diplomatically saying Lavrov said that the statement of the assistant to the head of the Department of homeland security denied the interference of any country in the elections. The Russian representative stressed that Vice-President Mike Pence confirmed this information.

Despite several charges against close to the Trump high-rank officials of Russia has repeatedly denied and continues to deny any attempts to influence U.S. elections.
