Journalist Rafael Rodriguez shot a video for the local newspaper El Propio de Magangue, where you can see dozens of people gathered at the trunk of a tree, photographing it.

«This figure appeared in last Sunday night, and the people rushed with candles and turned this place into a place of pilgrimage that affects neighbors, because there’s a lot of people.» — said a local journalist Rodolfo Zambrano.
At the same time, local authorities are concerned that the tree will gather even more people, despite quarantine warnings about the dangers of coronavirus. The mayor Magana Carlos Carballes arrived at the meeting together with law enforcement officers to force people to return home. The local Bishop has not yet commented on a strange incident and remains at home during the quarantine.
