In China, a growing number of asymptomatic cases of coronavirus

While China is going to lift restrictions on travel to the epicenter of the outbreak of coronavirus, Wuhan — Beijing reported an increase in the number of asymptomatic cases in the country. It raises concerns about the emergence of the second wave of the deadly infection, reports Fox News.

It is reported that at the end of Sunday, the national Commission on public health of China identified 78 new cases, which are considered to be asymptomatic, compared with 47 cases reported a day earlier.

The Chinese authorities took action to ease the tight restrictions on travel in the country. Prior to this it was reported that the Shanghai re-opens the cinema to visit. However, the mandatory 14-day quarantine was extended for citizens who arrived in the country from abroad.

China reported 82 641 cases of infection with coronavirus and 3335 deaths from infection. Beijing has been criticized for the fact that the authorities concealed information about the danger of the disease in the beginning of the outbreak COVID-19.

China allows residents to leave their homes in areas considered to be «free from the epidemic.» 45 residential complexes lost this status after the increase in the number of asymptomatic cases.
