In the video from the Sierra National Forest in California, a vacationer, trapped in the epicenter of a forest fire, is surrounded by flames on all sides. He is just one of 207 people caught in a fire trap and taken to safety at the last minute by rescue services.

The footage, taken by a man identified as Jeremy Remington, shows vans with cars on fire, as well as flames approaching tourists.

According to the emergency management department, rescue work began on Saturday evening and continued until early Sunday morning. At least 20 people had to be taken to local hospitals for treatment, two of them in serious condition. Another 2 vacationers refused to be evacuated.
