A resident of California and his two children are recovering after a lightning strikewhich lifted them into the air and tore off her clothes.
Christopher Lower, along with two children – 12-year-old Aidan and 9-year-old Nadia September 3, went to fish on the lake, in the County of Tulare, California. A thunderstorm started and lightning struck right in the tree under which they sat.
Christopher says that they all lost consciousness.
A couple who was on the other side of the lake, accidentally filmed the moment a lightning strike. The guy with the girl immediately rushed to help the victims. They say the man was thrown into the air – they were in different places. The force of impact with them, even ripped clothes.
Christopher Lower was paralyzed for several hours. Yesterday he told KFSN channel, found out how kind people can be. He added that the witnesses gave first aid to him and the children until rescuers arrived.
Christopher and children diagnosed second-degree burns, ruptured eardrums.
«If we got somewhat lucky in that there were amazing people who just pulled us from the world,» said the man.
