On Tuesday, the national weather service reported that in the Midwest and in the northeast U.S. heavy snow that will last until Wednesday, then snow air mass will head North to Canada.
In new York the snow is a little. Will drop up to 2 inches (5 cm) of snow, but rain, which will lead to icing on the roads and increased likelihood of accidents. Precipitation is expected after 5.00 PM. Forecasters reported that due to frost on the roads will be ice.
The people of new York are advised to be careful and avoid travel. Railroad of long island and warned passengers that they were attentive and careful on platforms and staircases. Airlines are advised to check online flight status in time to find out about possible delays or cancellations.
Forecasters also recommend mentally prepared for the fact that the residents of the city are waiting for a rainy chilly night to refuse to walk, if you do not like such weather.

National Weather Service New York today appealed to local residents with a request to report they found the snow, ice and other atmospheric phenomena. Thanks to the mobile app mPing is not difficult.
«A special instrument for recording atmospheric phenomena is mainly in the airports. But city dwellers everywhere can observe the weather and report it,» reads the app description.
