«To win trump to restore America»: the billionaire Michael Bloomberg into the presidential race

Billionaire and former new York mayor Michael Bloomberg, one of the richest men in the world, officially announced the nomination to the pOST of the US President from Democratic party.

77-year-old Bloomberg, who became a Democrat just last year, announced his candidacy on Sunday, November 24, stating that it has the unique capabilities to defeat President Donald trump.

«I’m running for President to win Donald trump to restore America,» wrote Bloomberg in his Twitter.

«We can’t afford another four years of reckless and unethical activities, he continued. – Trump represents an existential threat to our country and our values. If he wins another term, we may never recover from the damage.»

Statement Bloomberg happened just 10 weeks before the primaries in the Democratic party, which is a fairly unusual case.

Forbes put Bloomberg on the 11th place in the world by revenue, with a net profit of about $50 billion. Trump also took the 259-th place with a net capital of just over $3 billion.

I’m running for president to defeat Donald Trump and rebuild America.

I believe my unique set of experiences in business, government, and philanthropy will enable me to win and lead.

The former mayor of new York has not announced how many will be willing to spend overall on their presidential ambitions, but senior adviser Howard Wolfson said, «Everything you need to win Donald trump».
Competitors Democrats have criticized Bloomberg.

«I hate the idea that Michael Bloomberg or any other billionaire think they can circumvent the political process and spend tens of millions of dollars on elections,» wrote Bernie Sanders.
Elizabeth Warren, the other leading candidate of the Democrats, has accused Bloomberg of trying to buy the presidency.

Note that in recent years, Bloomberg has helped to close 282 coal plant in the United States and organized a coalition of American cities to cut carbon emissions by 75 million tons by 2025.

But he is far from a leftist ideologue. He refused to accept «Medicare for all» and «Green new deal» to combat climate change, noting that he prefers a more pragmatic approach.
