But experts give disappointing forecasts, saying about increasing the number of snakes in Northern California due to heavy rains and the growth of rodent populations is the primary source of food for reptiles.

David Allen, owner of catching snakes «Got Snakes», advises those who was bitten by a rattlesnake, immediately contact the doctors, as most local hospitals have serum-antidote. If it is administered in a timely manner, the chances of dying from a bite are extremely low.

Staff and students of the College reported the incident and warned them to be careful. But, of course, the best way to avoid snakebite is to avoid snakes in General.

If you see a snake, walk away – it attacks only in self-defense. The noise does not frighten snakes, because they have no ears. However, if you were to stomp on the ground, they will feel the vibration, and it would scare them.
