The Dove company has apologised for «racist» ads

The company Dove has publicly apologized for a series of «racist» advertising images that showed how after using soap black woman turns white.

Advertising campaign carried out in Facebook, used a series of three images in which a black woman takes off her clothes and was white. Further on the idea of the company, a white woman had to remove my clothes and turn into the Asian.

«We deeply regret the offense that would be allowed. This should not have happened,» said the company on Twitter.

The advertising campaign resulted in an active debate on social networks. Users have accused Dove of being racist and prefer white people.

However, there were those who tried to unravel the idea of the company and did not see in it anything reprehensible. «I think they mean that it is suitable for all skin types … transition from black to white and beyond,» wrote one Facebook user. Some reacted to the situation with sarcasm.

This is not the first accusation of a company of racism. In 2011 Dove was faced with a similar problem due to the use of the images before and after the use of soap with it, in the first photo shown was a larger woman, and the last one was slim.
