Macy’s is hiring 7,000 workers for the Christmas season

In the company Macy’s Inc. said Friday that they intend to hire an additional 7,000 workers for the Christmas season. The decision was taken after a successful previous sales for Black Friday and thanksgiving.

For several consecutive quarters the company has announced a massive reduction in sales. In consequence of this were closed dozens of stores, but now the company can relax a bit.

In September, Macy’s Inc. announced that it intends to hire 80 000 temporary workers for the holidays, 3,000 less than last year. 18 000 temporary employees had to work in distribution centers, processing online orders.

Thanksgiving and Black Friday in the stores Macy’s did buy 174 million Americans, significantly more than expected.
