The chain Dunkin’ Donuts plans to open an additional 9000 coffee shops

Coffee chain Dunkin’ Donuts plans to expand. Ambitious goals include the opening of 9000 new institutions across the country. A very surprising decision, given that even in the summer, its leadership claimed the slowdown in the expansion.

Network development is accompanied by an update of its concept. As previously reported, Dunkin’ Donuts plans to optimize the menu of coffee houses, removing from the list of unclaimed and difficult to prepare meals and drinks. It is also planned to sell more products through a network of supermarkets and shops for other brands, update the interior design coffee shops, to introduce the use of modern technologies and equipment.

Analysts suggest that the company is doing quite well, given that the number of establishments is expected to increase almost 2 times. In the end, in the U.S. there will be 18 000 coffeehouse Dunkin’ Donuts. For comparison, shops, 7-11 in the country only 8300 and coffee shops Starbucks is about 14 000.

Great expectations the company imposes on the sale of their own franchise.
