Employees of Facebook, living in California, want their boss mark Zuckerberg knew about their financial problems, especially given the fact that the latter went on a journey across the USA to communicate with all your employees.
A trip to Zuckerberg is his «personal challenge» in 2017. Her goal is «to learn about the hopes and struggles of people» working for him. The billionaire was driving the tractor, was met by recovering addicts, wore a helmet and spoke out against the overwhelming wealth inequality.
Nicole, 26, and Victor, 29, both work in the cafeteria at the Facebook office in Menlo Park, California, but live in the garage with his three children. And they want Zuckerberg knew about it or even looked to them.
The family lives in a cramped Parking garage next to the house of the parents of Victor for three years. Nicole and Victor has recently joined the Unite Here Local 19, along with 500 other employees of Facebook, who hope to improve living conditions for themselves and their families. Neither Facebook nor Flagship Facility Services (contractor to provide power in Facebook) did not oppose such a move of their employees.
Nicole earns $of 19.85 per hour, and the Victor $17,85, which is much higher than the minimum wage in California ($15). Although the couple gets a relatively decent amount, the spouses do not have access to medical insurance company. However, they do not qualify for state insurance, because they earn too much.
In an interview with the Guardian newspaper Nicole says that she felt more comfortable at a previous job where she was not looked down upon. The girl said that Facebook employees treated them as if they are worthless.
