Two decades ago, Union square was one of the major culinary centers of new York: new restaurants were opened on its territory with surprising regularity. Nevertheless, the crime situation here leaves much to be desired in the dark time of the day on the area was unsafe, and in the Park you can meet drug addicts.

Restaurant Republic will close its doors even earlier — at the end of this year. The owner Jonathan Moore has not yet decided whether to seek a new location for the institution.
Anyway, the regulars of the religious institutions need to find new places to enjoy leisure time.
