The US President wrote on Twitter that the Amazon is causing great harm to retailers who pay their taxes. The President also said: «Cities and States across America are suffering – many lose jobs!»

According to the Independent, after the tweet of the President of Amazon in less than 2 hours lost 1.2 percent of their value. This is about $ 5.7 billion.

Amazon is doing great damage to tax paying retailers. Towns, cities and states throughout the U. S. are being hurt — many jobs being lost!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 16, 2017

«Amazon is very harmful to taxpayers. Cities and States across America are suffering – many lose jobs!».

Recall that trump has previously criticized Amazon and the Washington Post, which is owned by Amazon founder Jeffrey Bezos. In June of this year, the President wrote on Twitter: «AmazonWashingtonPost, which is sometimes called the guardian of Amazon, don’t pay Internet taxes.»

And in December 2015 trump also called the Washington Post tax haven that Bezos uses to protect Amazon from antitrust prosecution. Without these agreements, according to trump, Amazon shares will collapse.
