In Texas explosion at the chemical plant

Hurricane Harvey, swept across America, left behind a ruined house, many casualties and millions in damages. However, it seems that this dire consequences do not end there.

At a chemical plant, which is owned by Arkema and is located in 30 kilometers from Houston, thundered 2 explosion. This was reported on the website of the company.

In addition, eyewitnesses say that the plant you can see the black smoke. The company has already ordered all employees to leave the territory, and orders have been given to evacuate everyone within a radius of 1.5 miles.

One of the workers taken to hospital with poisoning from fumes together with other people who went to the hospital as a precaution. It is reported by the office of the Texas Sheriff on Twitter. Later there was also published information that the smoke is non-toxic.

Representatives of the plant said that the fire of the chemicals was expected, as due to flooding of the generators, and therefore the cooling system is not working. The pieces which it produced, can be hazardous to health when the temperature rises.
