Police are looking for two robbers who committed a brutal attack on an elderly new Yorker. Early on the morning of Friday, attackers in a white sedan drove around the Bronx in search of profit, yet did not meet 79-year-old man.
The age of the victim does not become a hindrance for thieves — coming out of the car, they demanded his money. When he was to give them cash, one of the assailants hit the man in the face.
The victim fell to the ground, but the criminals did not stop they began to beat him down. The suspects did not stop even when the helpless man begged me to leave him alone and tried to crawl away from them on the next street.
Not know what would the outcome of this brutal act of violence, if not for the intervention of passers-by. The presence of the witnesses confused the attackers and they fled the scene.
The man was taken to Montefiore medical center with a broken jaw and his assailants still walk in freedom.
In June of this year, a similar incident occurred in Manhattan, 19-year-old Hispanic man attacked 90-year-old passer-by and started beating the old man with his own cane. Soon the attacker was detained, but his motives remained a mystery.
