In the Bronx at one of the schools in the struggle, the teenager stabbed another with scissors. Another student is in critical condition.
The incident occurred around 11 am in the school building in a residential area of East Tremont. Preliminary investigation revealed that the two victims and the killer was skirmish on the fifth floor at Urban Assembly School for Wildlife Conservation.
18-year-old student stabbed with scissors adolescents who were 15 and 16 years. He was arrested at school and taken to the station.
The victim 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital St. Barnabas, where he was declared dead. Another teenager was brought to the hospital in critical condition. The police found at the scene the murder weapon.
At a press conference in the 48th precinct of the NYPD mayor bill de Blasio said his condolences: «My heart is with the families of the victims in this tragedy.» The mayor promised to strengthen measures to protect children in school.
